Emma PearsonAssistant Teacher, Transitional Kindergarten

    Emma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Education from Chico State University, where she also studied Child Development, Liberal Studies, and Psychology. She is currently working towards her  goal of becoming a Certified Child Life Specialist. Emma’s experience working with children spans across multiple capacities, including as a nanny, tutor, a volunteer at UCSF Benioff children’s hospital, and as a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club. Her favorite part about working with children is the curiosity, humor and creativity that they bring to each and every day.

    Emma describes her as a big foodie who loves trying new restaurants and recipes! In her free time she enjoys going on hikes, attending live music and comedy shows, reading, and exploring the Bay Area. Emma grew up in Sonoma County and now lives in San Francisco with her two cats, Calvin and Scotch.
